The one energy saver pound world.

Today,

After about 5 months of my stay in the United Kingdom, I got a strange realization of this place. And that realization came from my room. I looked up to the source of light I had.. I wondered why it never even blinks ? How come they manage such a constant supply of power ? How ? But soon afterwards.. I saw the energy source from another angle and found it was just a 2 rupe wala Energy Saver! __ Believe it or not.. that is literally the MOST you'll ever get in a Room in a House in UK! - Even in the Lounge they have Energy Savers (okay a few of them), in rooms.. ONE energy saver, in Kitchen, 1 energy saver, in bathroom, 1 energy saver... and that is in an average type of house. By the way, This is NOT an energy efficient house as the Green Peace would put.. then WHAT IS ?

All of the energy consumed by this house in one year, then raise it by the power of 10 would equal the amount of energy we would, in our house, generally consume in one month in Pakistan! AND then WE complain about Load Shedding! - Why ? - We don't care how much energy we are wasting and even HOW much 'bill' we get.. Then why do we care if we don't have 'energy' for a few hours in a day, Why ?

By God; If our houses come as near to 30percent of What these British Houses are.. we would NEVER reach a state of darkness. We do have the power to support the Nation; despite of the shortfalls being listed, I believe. The thing to note is How we use this Power. Preserve it.. and it'll last longer.. Don't.. and it'll reach it's expiry very soon.. :P

btw: I really hate this ONE energy saver phenomenon; it's too haunting to find A bulb lit room! :S

Weapons of Mass Destruction

Quiet a few days back,

- When I was still in my home land, on the eve of Meethee Eid, I saw little children. Little children are a common sight.. I agree; BUT .. Children fully armed ?!?!

It seemed like Somalia! - It was really REALLY weird!
The stance of the children with the weapons.. was just frightening.. It was too professional. They were divided into small groups each hunting down the other. They were acting as a team.. a team of Cold blooded killers.. :|

The weapons were molded off plastic but still.. they look very real and even there way of operation is to some extent similar.

At the age where they should learn How to treat the environment, they are actually self-learning how to destroy it.

The way they behaved.. was a mirror of the events televised on the 12th of May 2007. Those children.. jumping from buses.. leaving there houses.. all armed.. Shook me from inside out..

It was all very depressing.. although I must acknowledge that Injection Molding is helping create nearly-realistic weaponry. :D

- Further more.. in shops across every nook and corner of the country, a Pan shop, a toy shop, a flower shop and even an Ice Cream shop stock these plastic Weapons of Mass Destruction! - Why ? Why do you want to sell replicas of devices that KILL people to innocent minds ? WHY ?
