A sad start.. can you see ?

Today,

I read this, and I was extremely grieved. It's not the first though but well.. this is here.

It just seems like they are gaining support for a strike in Pakistan. It's all clear. What can we not see ? - Justifying drone attacks in a sovereign country with a well capable army of it's own. Killing innocent lives due to the lack of intelligence and/or intelligence gathered by '3rd party' contractors. It's sad. Man killing man. It's sad.

The media reads off a well controlled script. Strangely enough, they are still known as 'unbiased' voice of the people. The brain washing begins now, it's all part of a bigger plan. We as a nation, have to wake up. We as a nation, have to speak out. We as a nation, have to say NO. I pray to Allah to guide us all towards the right path. And I pray to Allah to guard Pakistan against all evil, from within and from outside.

Pakistan Zindabad.

Al-Qaeda terror plot targeting Europe uncovered

Western intelligence agencies have uncovered an Al-Qaeda plot to launch Mumbai-style terrorist attacks in Britain, France and Germany, reports said Wednesday.

Militants based in Pakistan were planning simultaneous strikes in London and major cities in France and Germany, Britain's Sky News television reported, citing intelligence sources.

It was "one of the most serious Al-Qaeda attack plans in recent years" and was inspired by the terror group's fugitive leadership in Pakistan's tribal areas, said the BBC.

The United States was also a possible target and President Barack Obama had been briefed about the threat, said ABC News in the US citing American officials.

Planning for the attacks was advanced but they were not imminent and recent drone strikes in Pakistan had killed several leaders of the plot and severely disrupted it, said Sky.

Well-armed, commando-style teams of jihadists planned to seize Western hostages and murder them, in a manner similar to the siege of two Indian hotels in Mumbai in 2008, according to the BBC.

In the Mumbai attacks, 10 gunmen went on a three-day rampage, killing 166 people and injuring more than 300.

In Britain on Wednesday, the national threat level remained at "severe" -- where it has been since January -- which means a terrorist attack is thought highly likely.

France has been on a heightened state of alert amid warnings of an imminent terrorist attack but an official said late Tuesday these warnings were not linked to the reported Al-Qaeda plans.

The plot targeting Europe was uncovered after intelligence-sharing between London, France, Germany and the US, and their cooperation had led to the attack plans being disrupted, Sky reported.

A number of the plot leaders were killed in drone attacks which were increased in recent weeks to target them, said the broadcaster.

The Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday that the CIA had stepped up its drone attacks in Pakistan's tribal areas as part of efforts to prevent the mass attacks on European cities.

Pakistani security officials have reported around 20 drone strikes in the country's tribal belt along the Afghan border this month.

The latest on Tuesday killed Al-Qaeda's operational chief for Afghanistan and Pakistan in Pakistan's tribal areas, according to security officials in the country.

The source of the threat information was a suspected German terrorist captured on his way to Europe and now being held in Afghanistan, ABC said, citing intelligence and security officials in the US and Europe.

The report of the foiled plot came after the Eiffel Tower in Paris was evacuated Tuesday following the second hoax bomb threat at the landmark in a month and amid official warnings in France of an imminent terrorist attack.

However, a French intelligence source, speaking on condition of anonymity, told AFP he was "not at all in the know" about the reported plot.

A French government source, with links to the intelligence service, said recent warnings of an attack in France were not linked to Wednesday's reports of planned attacks on European cities.

Britain's Home Office and the Metropolitan Police had no comment on the reports.

Reports of the plot came after US Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said last week "increased activity" by terror groups signalled a heightened threat against Western countries, including European states.

"We are all seeing increased activity by a more diverse set of groups and a more diverse set of threats," she told a US Senate hearing asked about warnings in Europe of a growing terror threat.

They came, they shot and they went home..

Today;

The Sri Lankan cricket team in Pakistan was attacked by some "unknown" people. The attackers were caught on tape and even "I" can tell they were trained professionals.

The attack could have been due to various political reasons. There might be 'some' agenda behind this. Anyone, from Islamabad to Washington to India could have helped this happen. I do not blame anyone but my own country men.

This is not a joke. People, today, have lost lives.. Had this been prevented ? NO.
But.. How in the world did those 12 assassins manage to fly away from the spot ? - Weird!
- The security officials have a very strong communication network. Was the 'HQ' unaware of what was going on ? Where was the BACK UP ? - The 'convoy' was under attack, NOT the 'base'.

I think, this is my personal opinion and I certainly might be wrong, that if 'support' had reached the spot on time; there stood NO WAY that those guys could have not been brought to justice. It's just mind boggling to see that "ALL" can be done so so easily!

OR- even; if they had immediately blocked all the possible exit routes.. but sadly; This also became another "Weird things I saw today..". :(

The one energy saver pound world.

Today,

After about 5 months of my stay in the United Kingdom, I got a strange realization of this place. And that realization came from my room. I looked up to the source of light I had.. I wondered why it never even blinks ? How come they manage such a constant supply of power ? How ? But soon afterwards.. I saw the energy source from another angle and found it was just a 2 rupe wala Energy Saver! __ Believe it or not.. that is literally the MOST you'll ever get in a Room in a House in UK! - Even in the Lounge they have Energy Savers (okay a few of them), in rooms.. ONE energy saver, in Kitchen, 1 energy saver, in bathroom, 1 energy saver... and that is in an average type of house. By the way, This is NOT an energy efficient house as the Green Peace would put.. then WHAT IS ?

All of the energy consumed by this house in one year, then raise it by the power of 10 would equal the amount of energy we would, in our house, generally consume in one month in Pakistan! AND then WE complain about Load Shedding! - Why ? - We don't care how much energy we are wasting and even HOW much 'bill' we get.. Then why do we care if we don't have 'energy' for a few hours in a day, Why ?

By God; If our houses come as near to 30percent of What these British Houses are.. we would NEVER reach a state of darkness. We do have the power to support the Nation; despite of the shortfalls being listed, I believe. The thing to note is How we use this Power. Preserve it.. and it'll last longer.. Don't.. and it'll reach it's expiry very soon.. :P

btw: I really hate this ONE energy saver phenomenon; it's too haunting to find A bulb lit room! :S
